Hola clase. Parece que vamos a seguir unos días más sin vernos así que vamos a aprovechar estos días para desarrollar otro tipo de habilidades que os serán útiles en la vida. Hoy os propongo aprender a hacer un trabajo un poquito más profesional.
La semana pasada os propuse investigar paises de la Unión Europea. Vuestros trabajos están muy bien y creo que habéis aprendido con ellos. Pero hay unas cuantas pegas:
- Muchos de vosotros copiáis párrafos enteros de páginas web, eso no es una buena investigación.
- También os faltan cosas importantes para facilitar la lectura de vuestro trabajo: epígrafes, subrayado…
- muchos no ponéis vuestro nombre
- Nadie pone una BIBLIOGRAFÍA (Esto son los libros y páginas web que has utilizado)

Investigating America
The United States of America is made up of 50 states. Around 330 million people live there. Ranging from icy Alaska to sunny California, it has a wide range of climates.
America’s highest mountain is called Denali. It’s in Alaska. According to Lori A. Selke’s article on USA Today, “The seven tallest mountains in the United States are all contained within a single state — Alaska” (Selke).
America’s capital, Washington D.C., is named after the country’s first president. This area is unique because it doesn’t belong to any state.
One of America’s best known monuments is the Statue of Liberty. According to The Mysterious World website, France gave America this statue after it gained independence from England. The website says, “Nowadays the statue of liberty is an icon of New York city and symbol of freedom” (Mysterious).
In the state of South Dakota sits another well-known monument. Here, the faces of four famous presidents are carved into Mount Rushmore. Each face is around 18 meters tall (Mysterious.)
Another monument is the Lincoln Memorial. The statue of this famous president is made of marble. With a wise look on his face, Lincoln stares out at the sights of Washington D.C.
America is a large country. It has many places to visit to see its interesting history.
