2. OXIDATION
Remember our apple experiment…? well that’s it: some molecules in an apple or in other materials like iron REACT with the OXYGEN and produce a brown substance called oxide or RUST
3. FERMENTATION
FUNGI or BACTERIA react with certain FOODS and transform them: Yogurt, yeast (levadura), cheese or wine are produced by FERMENTATION.
In this experiment you can see how yeast (levadura) reacts with sugar and makes a chemical reaction of FERMENTATION. Would you like to try it?
